This chapter evinces that sychoanalytic “dialogue” initiatives are not neutral but that, instead, their ideological investment in psychoanalytic innocence, specifically invested in its own universalism, functions in collusion
with and as an extension of the asphyxiatory closure system (in Jerusalem,
the West Bank, and Gaza) and an extension of the settler-colonial
regime throughout Palestine.
